Improving Capacity for Treatment of Childhood Obesity in the Irish Health Service (2013-2016)
The Streetwise Healthy Lifestyle Programme was further developed and re-branded as the W82GO Healthy Lifestyle Service. Annual temporary funding from the Health Service Executive was secured 2013-2016 and part-time dietetics, physiotherapy and psychology staff were recruited. The treatment approach incorporated the COM-B model of change and design of digital health interventions were commenced.
