LANDSCAPE team present early study findings at the European Congress on Obesity (ECO) in Maastricht

Researchers from our Obesity Research and Care Group, led by Dr Grace O’Malley, travelled to Maastricht in the Netherlands last week, where we showcased some early findings from the LANDSCAPE study!
Dr Louise Tully presented the first piece of work from this study on Saturday, which included a systematic review of clinical practice guidelines for the management of obesity. In short, the team compiled the main recommendations from English language guidelines internationally for treating obesity in young people, and have put these together to compare areas of commonality and deviation. This work is currently under peer review for publication.
The team also prepared a poster for the conference, which details some very early insights to the findings from our ongoing data collection with health and social care professionals, who have been generously taking part in focus group discussions!
We look forward to sharing more study findings as we have them.
