Fiona Ward

Fiona Ward joined the Department of Health as National Policy Lead for Nutrition and Obesity in 2023. Prior to this, she was Professional Lead in Nutrition and Dietetics in Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) and has worked across many clinical specialties in CHI since 2005, including obesity treatment on the CHI Child and Adolescent Obesity Service. Fiona completed a Masters in healthcare management and has a keen interest in research, having published articles relevant to dietetics in breastfeeding, home enteral tube feeding, workforce planning and as a collaborator in childhood obesity treatment.
