Dr Mohammad Almulla is an intern doctor passionate about paediatric medicine and children’s health and wellbeing.

As a member of RCSI’s Obesity Research and Care Group (ORCG), Dr Almulla participates in the Childhood Obesity LANDSCAPE project in roles including qualitative data analysis, leading focus group interviews, and data transcription. He is passionate about improving care delivered to children and families living with obesity.

Mohammad is also interested in medical education via simulation-based learning. He has worked with the RCSI SIM Centre for Simulation Education and Research as qualitative data analyst and an actor in simulation scenarios.

He assisted in a research projected published in Frontiers in Pediatrics under the title: “Preparing for Pediatrics: Experiential Learning Helps Medical Students Prepare for Their Clinical Placement’ in 2022.

He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2023 with First Class Honours. He is currently based in New Jahra Hospital, Kuwait.
